There was a small group gathered for the Miles for Mary 5k on Saturday in Marblehead, MA. Looking around at the competition, Dan Vassallo and Jordan Kinley probably knew before the gun went off that it would come down to the two of them for the win. However, Dan had on the Level Renner singlet so clearly he had the upper hand. Vassallo ended up winning by a comfortable margin with a 16:54. It was surely an easy effort for the CMS runner judging by the way he’s been racing this year. Jordan wasn’t too far behind n 17:20, somewhat caught in no man’s land as the next guy was about a minute behind him.
Great race for an incredible cause! Check out the live results from today’s #MilesforMary run. http://t.co/KwsugORpzZ pic.twitter.com/KH8o9ODtZx

Meagan Nedlo was once again the fastest woman on the day and came in 4th overall with an 18:26. The women’s race was a little tight since Katie Cooper was right on Nedlo’s heels (18:32).
For a small race it had quite a few recognizable names. Larissa Park, who won the USATF-NE 5k championship earlier this year and also was the High Street Mile champ, was 11th overall.
Congrats to Dan and Meagan for their wins and a big thank you to Dan for sporting the Level singlet (and making it look real good in the process)!
