Level Renner top dawg Kev Balance was spotted out in action at the Run for a Vet 5mi Road Race this morning (thanks to our friends at Charles River Running Co for the heads up). Kev ran a 30:23 and placed third, which is another solid outing for a renner racing his way back into shape.
Jay McMahon got the win in 28:05, followed by Luke Devin in 29:50.
Andrea Widberg was not only the top masters woman in 33:46, but she was top woman of any age and even placed 7th overall. Kudos to Andrea! Beth Lennox was next in 37:19 (11th overall) followed by Abby Picciano (37:36, 14th overall).
Over 200 people lined up for the race this morning, which turned out to be a pretty hot one. This second year event provides financial aid to local veterans (net proceeds to benefit the Run For a Vet Fund). More info on their site (click here).
