Upon learning of the 2016 Marblehead Race Series, Olympian Shalane Flanagn said: – “I’m so happy to hear about the Marblehead Race Series. This is a fabulous development. I’m thrilled to hear that running is gaining more visibility as a healthy activity and competitive sport in Marblehead. I probably ran on all the courses when I was younger and I wish I could run in all the races, but I will certainly be there to participate in the Back the Track on November 26! I’ll be there in spirit for all the other races too.”
There is no fee to participate in the 2016 Marblehead Race Series aside from the race registration fees. Register for the series to be eligible for the awards and learn more about the races through the web site www.marbleheadraceseries.com or find entry forms at locations around Marblehead.
