“Since those humble 3K beginnings, I ran throughout my high school years with cross country and track. I continued running through my 10 years in the United States Navy. While serving in the Navy, I was able to run in many foreign countries including Japan, Hong Long, Singapore, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates. Being stationed in Hawaii and California allowed me to run in some of the fastest and most scenic races in the United States including Honolulu Marathon, California International Marathon and the Carlsbad 5000.”
