A bit of breaking news on a otherwise slow (and snowy?!) Saturday afternoon: Chris Zablocki has apparently just set a world record for an indoor marathon.
Dartmouth alum & Olympic marathon trials qualifier Chris Zablocki just ran an indoor marathon world record of 2:21:47

And here we have confirmation of the record, along with appearance of another familiar name just behind him:
Chris Zablocki of Essex set the indoor world marathon record Saturday at the NYC Armory in 2:21:48. @EricMBlake finished 3rd (2:25:20)

And an even better shot of Chris finishing it off:

See what happens when work hard, run smart and throw the old Matt Pelletier around the yard? Hopefully we’ll have more on this to come shortly. Special thanks to Sybil Shapiro for the heads up.
