BAA’s Sam Alexander Races to Victory at GBTC XC

Former Central Connecticut State standout and current BAA sub-elite Sam Alexander paid a worthwhile visit to Elm Bank Reservation on Sunday. He captured the trophy in the Men’s Championship Race at rival club GBTC’s XC meet, intending to use it as a tune-up for what will hopefully be an OTQ in the half marathon two weeks later. Sam ran a 15:25 for the win, holding a comfortable 9 second gap on second place David Wilson when he broke the tape.
