An Ras Mor 5k

Twenty-four year old David Wilson won the An Ras Mor 5k back on March 22nd with a 15:29. That worked out to a 4:59 pace, and gave David a 6 second gap between himself and runner up Chris Stadler. Greg Picklesimer was 4th overall in 16:17 and was also the top masters runner.

Amory Salem was the top woman in 18:24, and she had a comfortable lead of about twenty seconds over the next woman. Amory was 27th overall in what is typically a deep, fast field. Although the race wasn’t part of the USATF-NE road grand prix series this year, it was part of the New England Runner Pub Series. The top masters woman was Holly Madden, who just snuck in under the 20 minute barrier (19:56).

While normally from these more popular races we get a whole slew of action shots, it was a different type of photo that caught our eyes this time. Scott Mason snagged some wonderful group and candid shots from the after party at the Asgard which definitely makes us want to lace ’em up and get out to the next Pub Series race:
