Sanders Scores Big New Bedford Win

Will Sanders ran an incredible 1:06:12 for the win at the New Bedford Half Marathon on Sunday. The finish, if you haven’t seen it, was one of the most exciting in the history of the race. You could make the argument that it’s there in the pantheon of exciting finishes in the history of the USATF-NE Grand Prix series. Will, a resident of CT (we won’t hold it against him), isn’t a member of the New England association but has won two big races in this neighboring association (Five College Realtors 10 Miler being the other).

Mike Giberti got Will on camera afterwards to talk about how the race unfolded, and how he was able to out-kick Jonny Wilson for the win:
